Do you mean Germans living in the UK? I advise living in the UK permanently and becoming a citizen. This will allow them to maintain their NHS privileges and also be a part of the UK. NHS is not free by the way. It comes out of taxes. I doubt Germans who do work in the UK are not taxed to make up their share. If they do not want to stay permanently I am sure the UK government will allow them to apply for some alternative that offers pretty much the same thing. Instead of EU-Wide European Health Insurance Card it can be UK Insurance Card. I don't think it is too difficult to implement but I may be wrong. If I missed the point you made above do clarify in the next Round. May I remind this only impacts a small amount of people. Why should the majority of people living in the UK should forget about Brexit? |
