The RNA world hypothesis provides a basic understanding for how RNA could perform both the task of information storage along with being able to catalyze some reactions when folded apon itself into ribo-nucleic machines called ribozymes.

My position is that the origins of life can be explained with protobionts that use RNA to pass genetic information from one generation to next along with catalyzing reactions inside the protobiont, and that these RNA based protobionts could evolve to do the following.

> Evolve machinery that allows the protobiont to reproduce on its own without environmental stresses.

> Make the jump from an RNA > RNA > RNA based system to the modern DNA > RNA > PROTEIN based system of today.

> Evolve ribozymes that synthesis both "Phospholipids" and "Proteins"

All i ask for this debate is a honest debate on whether the previously stated is viable or not, please do not accept my debate if your going to spin this off for religion or intelligent design.
