children do not achieve their potential in education because their family member cannot afford the high expenses of education of their children and due to gender discrimination mostly girls are deprived of basic education.

It depends on which country you are referring to, Because there are countries in the world that have extremely high quality education as compared to others. For an example, Finland has one of the best education systems in the world, Because the profession of teaching there is highly respected and the teachers there aren't underpaid, Like in most countries. There are more reasons as to why their education system is successful, But this is the main one.
