Genetic engineering is immoral because humans shouldn't change life artificially but also because of side effects of the prosses there isn't actually any more food that comes from gm crops.

Let's say someone has a disease due to faulty genes. With genetic engineering, it may be possible to replace the faulty genes with healthy genes. (1) Also, genetic engineering already allows us to mass produce several types of medicine that help save lives. (2) Although, there may be some side effects when you consider the amount of lives that could be saved from genetic engineering, it becomes worthwhile. Finally, GM crops do produce more.
