My side: robots taking over doesn't make communism easier.

Who are we? People. Just get this clear.

Definition of communism: a political theory derived from Karl Marx, Advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

So presumably when robots take over our earth they will treat humans like slaves or even objects. If communism is enforced, Then everyone will be all under the supreme robo king's regime, Instead being treated as a pet, Personally. Say this: is a farmer in a normal wyoming field better, Or do you find it in the way the Jews were trapped in torture camps? Human communism is better than Nazis, But is is not, Like, Extremely good. When us humans be slaves, It will be even harder.

And in case if you are referring to robots themselves, Let me tell you robots themselves are a creation of capitalism. Really, Soviet russia and China were basically motivated BY AMERICA. You'd need money to make those robots within companies and not the government consider they already has 3 million other things to care about, And you have to control them until you can't and that is how they take over. Growing up learning the laws and methods of literal capitalism with companies, So either you can't FORCE them to learn communism consider there will be a considerable amount of robots to take over it, And only by imputing communism in every robot is a waste of time. And even if it succeeded, Then they will turn to capitalism faster than even us humans. You can't force them after either consider, Would you learn to accept the idea of your pet cat knowing nothing of international space station and java programming? Probably not. They won't even listen to us lowly humans by that time when robots really has taken over the world.

Refutes:
"robots are not greedy they will work whether you pay them or not"

After enough AI learning, They will develop feelings like us humans and eventually be greedy. And this is even before they took over. In reality when the robots took over we are mere slaves. Your scenario is probably not wrong consider robots CAN help us with communism, But not after when it took over the world.

Argument done.

Once we have a post scarcity society where work becomes optional and we have a guaranteed income even if we do nothing, Technology might make work obsolete we will be free and equal

So, You confirmed that us humans are pets.

This means that all of my arguments before is still unharmed.

How would we be pets? We would be truly free to do the magical things art and music poetry, Science, Gardening. We would be free to persue, The finer aspects of our minds all the dirty miserable toil would be done by our friends and servants the robots who we would thank and polish, Polishing your robot would be the only chore, To show them we love them and appreciate their work

HAHA jokes on you. So, We don't work much and get money, And we still raise robots, So who's gonna do all the work? And second this is setting in a communist society so the government-run company would produce a robot for each person, Let alone if this would even be helpful. And first, Robots didn't even took over yet. They are still helping us. If they took over then we won't even live.

That's what I've always thought. AI could supply humans with everything we need so long as they don't turn on us.
