I say that this should not happen because you are could be putting a puppy to sleep because of one bite. wall you should be at least give the dog a chance to live out its life.

Like the comment on this debate says. It matters about the severity about attack, so really my question is what kind of bit are we talking about? A nip? A bit that draw's blood? It also matter's on circumstance. It the dog is viciously attacking you, then absouluetly, even if you don't kill it out of angle, you kill it to prevent the dog's from further harming anyone else. If the dog doesn't know any better, then that's when you teach it. But basically, yes, if a dog bit's and draws blood out of rage or whatever you want to call it, it should be put to sleep. |

Also think about the frequency of the biting. Do they hurt people a lot for no reason? Maybe consider putting the dog down.
