Good luck.

I must note, should is a very forceful word, I prefer can. Friends can become family.
The world family comes from the Latin term famulus (servant) to familia (House hold servants). Family share emotional bonds, common values and goals. Friends are their for your emotional need, and a friendship is most likely sparked from common values and goals.

Averagely when two life long partners meet they where first strangers or acquaintances. To move on from this phase friendship is required. When the relationship develops into partnership, two people who where once friends are now conceited family. This is one example proving with out friendship their is no family.
