Debate Round No. 1

According to a study, nearly 43% of kids have been bullied online.1 in 4 has had it happen more than once. Why they use social media?Because 80% of teens use cell phone regularly, making it the most common medium for cyber bullying.Moreover,81% of young people think bullying online is easier to get away with than bullying in person.Totally this activity will bring out monster in us.People will say that we are a cruel person because we make people stress and sad.Do you know that cruel is monster behaviour.

If nearly 43% of children have been cyber bullied, then there are two possible solutions.

1. Don't use the site or deactivate your account on said site.
2. Look into the site's privacy settings and block them or report abuse.

Also, kids will relentlessly bully anyone, it doesn't have to be online. There are way more people in school and in the street that are harassing and bullying them, so it is not just social networking sites that are doing this.
And yes, while kids do feel more powerful when they're behind a screen, all the person who is being bullied has to do is get rid of their Facebook/Tumblr/Yahoo/Twitter etc.

Also, so what if 80% of teens use a cell phone? Not everybody does, and when someone is being cyber bullied, they can just get rid of their phone. Problem solved.
If the bullying continues with things like websites being made, they just go to the support section of the site and click support abuse. There are many sites for this.

Have I stumped you?

It's pretty easy to avoid cyber bullying these days. Just don't use the site.
