Society is winding down into chaos and disorder. In almost all sphere"s of life and public relations.Kids are totally without discipline and most people dont seem to care.
with social media running rampant what chance do people have, its all about how people look, how many friends they have got.
Society is turning more and more sour people are being groomed for hate.
If you think society is getting better please debate, becauce all I see is chaos, rebellion and disorder.

Society does seem to be winding down into chaos and disorder, but I believe that is not necessarily the case. The thing is, with so much media exposure that there is nowadays, it only seems that way. Currently, most of the world is connected, whether it be through television or the internet. Even if you are not into internet or television, someone around you most likely will be, and let you know about what they are watching. More than likely, you will learn about the negative things happening.
Debate Round No. 1

You have said nothing to defend the fact that society is falling into carnage.
There is no discipline in our homes, workplace.
The term "political correctness" is pure evil in some cases.
Why do people kill themselves in the name of religion?
The internet is corrupt, any untrained eye will be sucked into the evil, teenage suicide is a direct result of internet bullying.
Men and women are slowly changing rolls within the home, we are leaving our old victorian and christian values.

In order to decline, you need to have been up in the first place. Humanity as a whole has always been at rock bottom. Within just the last 100 years, we have witnessed racism, holocaust, drug wars, excessive drug use, and list goes on.

People Killing themselves for religion is nothing new either. Religious wars can be dated centuries back.

Men and Women roles are not changing. Rolls are now being shared.

Suicide reasons rooted elsewhere, not the net. Bullying has occurred way before net.

Look at the ancients: conscripted labor to build pyramids; intentional cruelty inflicted on Spartan children o make them strong; Roman atrocities against their conquered; gladiatorial games; crucifixions; persecution of pagans by Constatine and Theodosius; the Dark Ages; Ghengis Khan, Attila the Hun; Tamerlane; the Catholic church selling indulgences; corrupt popes; the Inquisitions; the slave trades; the utter beastly brutality and joyless lives of the Puritans; the burning of 'witches'; broken Indian treaties by the score (after all, they were just heathen savages.)

Today you have free countries throughout Europe, North/Central/South America, much of Asia, etc. We have our petty cyberwars and economic sanctions and tariff wars, but look at how much progress we've made shutting the religious zealots up. Islam is defeating itself with every act of barbarism that the rest of the world deplores. The world's collective knowledge is at your fingertips at home via the internet.

I'm a nudist and have been for 40 years. I have chat access to thousands of others like myself via the net. Nudists are Protestants, Catholics, seculars such as myself, as well as Buddhist, MOSLEMS (if you can believe that!) and others. I have never felt so free in my life.

Yep, we have the Stephen Paddocks and other deranged oddballs that force their 15 minutes of infamy upon us, but of 320 million people, they are a tiny tiny tiny fraction. Technological advancement is not on a linear trend, but on an exponential trend. 3-D printers easily create a wide array of things that were much more difficult to manufacture. Welding processes, resource efficiencies, bitcoin development, automation and agricultural advancements are amazing. Do we have problems? Sure. But even China isn't murdering 100 million at a time like Mao, nor Russia's 30 million under Stalin, nor Hitler's 10 or 12 million, etc. This just might be the very best time to be alive or to be growing up.

"....society going into decline....."
American Citizens are slowly beginning to recognize the later stages of decay and dissolution that has pervaded the country and they set back in utter astonishment and disbelief at what they are witnessing today. These changes for the worst in the country and its people did not take place overnight but has progressed from a progressively loosening of what was traditionally been thought of as proper conduct to the complete abandonment of established and proper roles of the male and female right down to the most basic question of whether to accept the natural assignment of the male and female sex by each individuals anatomy. How much further down the path of dissolution can a nation go which has dispatched with the rules of common decency to open debauchery and permissiveness. In America's present stage of decline marriage between a man and woman is regarded as a relic of the past and irrelevant,
"relativism " is the guiding philosophy of todays young people, who, they say, is to pass judgement on the right or wrongness of such an arrangement between a couple.
Edmund Burke wrote this about the value of " ancient opinions and Rules..." when disregarded and not honored, He said,"....When ancient opinions and rules of life are taken away, the loss cannot possibly be estimated. From that moment on we have no compass to govern us; nor can we know distinctly to what port we steer...." America is a country without a compass to guide it safely along, its future is predestined and its only a matter of time before the country is made to account for its blase attitude.
Quote of Edmund Burke taken from " THE MORAL IMAGINATION," The Book, "The portable conservative Reader."
