who do you think should impart on this knowledge, either teachers, parents, friends or perhaps the mass media?

I will use this round for acceptance, and make a case for each of the potential options, then allow the instigator to pick a side when they feel ready to do so.

Teachers obviously should be the ones to impart sexual knowledge. By limiting the number of people educating children about sex-ed we eliminate the concern of mis-information being conveyed, and teachers are easily reached by parents to adapt their lessons to a child's needs while still maintaining a reasonable baseline.

Clearly, Parents are the best to educate their own children about sex. Each parent has a different set of standards as to what they may have learned about sex, and as there are no "best answers" this should remain entirely in the home.

Without dispute, friends are the best ones to educate children about sex. As I don't know whether we are talking about friends of the parents, teachers, or the children themselves this is a little murky, but I will make the case that a parent's tendencies to attach moralistic and reactionary stigma to sex when it comes to their own children makes them unsuited. Schools are too centralized however, and friends (whomever they may be friends of) have both the intimacy, yet distance, from children to educate them properly.

Indubitably, the Mass media is the real one who should impart sexual knowledge. The mass media is an echo of society and presents many different view points in positive and negative ways. Just as from life, children should have exposure to sexual knowledge and learn to make their own decision to be the strongest most independent people they can.

Okay, what side would you like me to pick?

All of the above. The transmission of any knowledge is most effective when taught from multiple perspectives. As Eve learned in Eden, human knowledge is the only thing that makes the gods nervous.
