I believe that the Bible clearly teaches that followers of Christ should not be involved in politics. Is creation more viable than the theory of evolution?

Young earth creationists believe that the earth was created 6000 or fewer years ago. They believe that a God created the Earth, and the first two humans Adam and Eve. Evolution does not fit into their model of creation. They often push school boards to teach creation in school alongside evolution, or for the abolition of the teaching of evolution. I do not believe that there is sufficient evidence to support a creation model, and in fact there is a lot of evidence refuting the concept....
