Sorry I'm very new here and have a question...

I posted a debate being pro and point of view. My opponent states in his first line that he agrees with me and then goes off on a tangent. He then invites me to debate with him on a topic that he is clearly more interested in. What should I do? Can I delete the debate? I don't want to chat (being that it wont really be a debate) but I don't want to forfeit either. Even if I did, would I be allowed to start an identical debate straight after?

Corrected URL:

I suggest merely quoting him agreeing with, and state that the resolution has been affirmed due to con's concession.

He'll probably FF, make sure you still login and post something along the lines of "extend arguments." Doing so will result in a free win. Following that you may want to restart the challenge, to get another debater.
