I have a serious problem with McTaggart's A- and B- models of time.
My probem is remembering which one is which - is there a mnemonic I can use?

I have a friend who says, "B for bad." That may not work for everybody. She's just thinks the B-theory is wrong. That's what helps her remember which is which.

Ah, it could be straight out of Orwell:
A theory good,
B theory bad.
I'm basically a presentist (unfashionable, I know) which is A-theory so it works! :)

A time = observed reality i.e. physical/energy that we observe ergo ability quantize via some instrument and specifically associated with observed occupied space that in-turn is associated with XYZ spatial dimensions of occupied space{ observed or not }.

B time = metaphysical-1, mind/intellect/concepts of time i.e. abstract time, ex a space-of-time, between ticks and/or tocks, is not XYZ spatial dimensions.

The ticks, tocks the clock, the batteries, the electrons all occupy space.

There is of course occupied space of time that we do not observe and that is gravity ( ) and dark )(.

True non-occupied space, that embraces our finite, occupied space Universe, is of course beyond metaphysical-1, abstract time or observed occupied space time.

This goes back to the cosmic trinity that few people aknowledge or acccept as rational, logical common sense conclusion.

Ego the largest mental blockage to rational, logical common sense. imho
