Has anyone seen this show on Netflix? I could have put this under the Entertainment category, but the show is very (almost purely) philosophical. It deals with different moral dilemmas or social issues in each episode. I find that it's more thought provoking than entertaining. If you have seen it, what are your favorite episodes? What topics explored in the show do you find to be most interesting?

I liked White Bear the most. Amazing movie. It really made an impression on me. Other episodes aren't that interesting.
He wished to turn his countenance from the smoldering rubble, but saw from amidst the embers that a few chaff would not burn away. To these, he stared into the eye of God sneering, and called them, 'Promethean.'

I have only watched 1 so far but it was quite interesting. It concerned the P.M. and a porker. Apart from the obvious moral and philosophical arguments I thought it was rather obvious in itself.

I also enjoyed "Shut Up and Dance." It was quite interesting though the message was a little bit banal. The internet is a dangerous place. Be careful what you do and watch out for the bad guys.

I watched the first 4 episodes and just stopped because it's a soul-wrenchingly bleak f*cking show.

Same. It's really thought provoking but boring and always pretty dismal.

I have only seen a handful, but one that stood out to me was in season 3 I believe. It was about rating people with your cell phone, like giving someone 2 starts, 5, etc. Quite interesting, really goes into the thought of how we perceive one another and how much we conform to society in a way.

Skip the first two seasons. Netflix acquired it from Channel 4 and gave the series an American touch while adding high-quality actors. (I don't know why that is, but just about everything looks old and worn down in England.) In season 3 you'll encounter scenarios such as simulated reality, experimental exploitation, and Big Brother run amok.

I recommend episodes 2 through 5 from season 3.

I gave this a shot and it's still f*cking awful dude. Probably didn't help either that I spent the evening with my grandmother with Alzheimer's and she was pretty bad today.

I really don't like this show.

That's what I appreciate about the series. It's irredeemably dark and unforgiving.

Oh, I imagine. Sorry, man. Going from bleak to pale white in one stroke.

Lol. I'm not looking to persuade you. (Just plugging it for all of you philosophical pessimists out there.)

All-time favorite movie or are we still on topic? It's "Playtest" if it regards episodes.

But if it's all-time, I'd say Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker, with a special mention for Ingmar Bergman's Persona and David Lynch's Mulholland Dr. Those are the first three that come to mind. I also have a weak spot for Akira Kurosawa, Federico Fellini, Luis Bunuel, Robert Bresson, Paul T. Anderson, and the Coen brothers (A Serious Man, especially).
