A good indictment of a professional bullsh!tter. Robinson's case was very convincing, particularly the numerous examples of Peterson's nonsense, especially the diagrams. I hope people who read Peterson's stuff will read Robinson's critique.

I was reading some of the political views of Peterson where he was talking about blaming people for their lots in life. It was actually somewhat comforting to let myself go down that road. It cleaned the world up, made the world feel like a just place even though I know it isn't. It was an alluring perspective.

What do you like about him?

I like him not merely because he rebukes identity politics and postmodernism, but because he isn't ideologically-driven. As someone with a PhD in clinical psychology who regularly delivers lectures ranging from depression to life advice to philosophy, I find him far more interesting than some paid right-wing talking head. You don't usually see academics venture into the culture war, so I kind of see him as having a unique perspective.
