They spend a lot of time talking about that, but also about everything else that happened in that year.

It's a really good series. Tom Hanks produced it, or helped.

68 -72 very turbulent times. I might have seen it, if you haven't looked at this period of US history it's well worth looking into. I'm curious as to your impression.

Are there specific topics within that timeframe you'd like to see talked about?

I lived through it I was all of 4yrs old but it highly influenced me and started my interest in politics. There's a book called "Nixonland" that recaps the 60s very well. A period when the flower children turned into freaks similar to today when the youth outnumbered the mature. still curious as to what do you think of this period in time.

I haven't read Nixonland, but I know quite a bit about the 60s and 70s. Though, what I know mostly is American political history, Russian political history, and Cold War history generally. International political history, as well.

I also know a lot about what my parents went through in that time, and my grandparents as well.

hypothetically just for fun.
YYW so your impression... do think that this period of time was ground breaking, wastefull, stupid, scary... would you want to live during this period time if so would you be a hippy, student, blue collar, white collar... or stay in your own generation

Untill the age of 16 I wanted to be 19 in 1968 then.... my generation created their own movement PUNK and since I been happy with my age and the time period I've lived in. Probably could have done without the drugs either way

I'm glad I wasn't alive in the 60s. I'm gay, and being gay would have not really been safe at that time. I would have liked the 1970s, but again... gay. Dangerous to the tune of life threatening to be gay before about the mid-1990s.

That said, I don't know what I would have been, although most likely I would have been an anti-war protester.
