House Speaker John Boehner published an Op ed in an Ohio paper, stating that "The president"s health care law adds a massive, expensive, unworkable government program at a time when our national debt already exceeds the size of our country"s entire economy. We can"t afford it, and we can"t afford to leave it intact. That"s why I"ve been clear that the law has to stay on the table as both parties discuss ways to solve our nation"s massive debt challenge."[1]

Democrats believe that this could be another sop to the Tea Party - "a reassurance to the Tea Partyers who are soon going to be asked to accept some very uncomfortable compromises on the fiscal cliff that, don"t worry, really, seriously, the GOP leadership still has Obamacare in the crosshairs!".[1]

So what is the Tea Party anyway? It seems that this invisible party causes more problems than good.

I think the tea party is waiting for the government to run out of people to blame.
The extinction of the species is worse than the extinction of the nation, which is worse than the extinction of the tribe, which is worse than the extinction of the family, which is worse than the extinction of the individual. The second he reverses that list of priorities, he becomes a coward, and would be summarily disposed of by any civilized society that values its own survival.
