Do you believe in the virgin birth?

Do you believe in talking snakes and donkeys?

Do you believe in a world-wide flood?

Do you believe in the resurrection of Jesus?

Do you believe in heaven and hell?

The Bible says so. And it is possible for a woman to give birth without having intercourse. So why not?

Do you believe in talking snakes and donkeys?

No. Because the Bible does not say snakes and donkeys talk. If it did though, I would.

Do you believe in a world-wide flood?

If your idea of "world wide" is according to the Bible's meaning, yes.

Do you believe in the resurrection of Jesus?

Most assuredly I do. Because it is in fact one of the most factual facts in existence.

Do you believe in heaven and hell?

That they exist? Sure, as much as a spiritual place can "exist".

Why would a Christian not believe in doctrines explicitly stated in the Bible?

You can believe parts of a myth without thinking they are real. Shamanic journeying can have weird things going on. The elements often represent concepts. You can believe the story and it's message without it being a literal tale. Most myths work that way.

you trying to explain religious miracles like resurrection of Jesus by science. the tihng is its not meant to be explain that way. we call it "miracle" becasue it goes beyond/breaks the laws of the universe, done by all powerful God. why you trying to justify it with natural processes where they telling you its a supernatural in the first place?

No, no, no, no, and no. At least, not if you are asking me if I think they actually happened.

On the other hand, I realize I could be wrong about this. As I was not there, and there is much I don't know about what is and isn't possible in this existence. Though in these instances, I think they are highly unlikely.

my bad.. I presupposed that what you are trying to say is like as many atheists agrue "miracles" are cant be explained according to science which they are right. which is the point why they are called "miracles" in the first place.

I think God can do what He wants.

As to the purpose to this thread, I was just curious. I believe in strange things, I have no problem with Christians believing in strange things.
