Well, say if you take two really feral human beings and dehumanize them, you would get Fungus of Ham and Ethang.

Get the picture?

I'm still having troubles with the word.
And for some reason I'm thinking of a mannequin dressed in a burka would look exactly like the real thing .

Dehumanizing.

Actually, I think you might have the math wrong. I think you might only need one of them for those two names most of the time.

And taking away someone's free will to choose how to express themselves outwardly is what dehumanizes someone in this context. (Not to Willows, to the topic at hand)

You got it. A mannequin is an object so if you make a woman look like a mannequin you have dehumanized her.

Muslim women wear Burka's because they believe that the body is private and only deserving of family, husbands to view fully.

If you want to see the dehumanization of women, look at any Spring Break Party and see the College kids roaring and cheering women in wet tee shirt contests and thongs.

This really aint that hard bro

I wonder if folks in the ME know that black absorbs heat much more than white.

Notice that men usually wear white clothing and the Burka is black. Thick black material.

It would show that not only do men want to cover up their property in public, they want to make sure she suffers when she goes outside in the stifling desert heat.

Well let's ask an ex Muslim woman.

"The veil deliberately marks women as private and restricted property, nonpersons. The veil sets women apart from men and apart from the world; it restrains them, confines them, grooms them for docility. A mind can be cramped just as a body may be, and a Muslim veil blinkers both your vision and your destiny. It is the mark of a kind of apartheid, not the domination of a race but of a sex."

FORCING women to wear a Burka or Encouraging them to wear a Burka with social pressure is wrong and infringes on their freedoms.

I'd say basic human freedom would be the ability to do whatever you want as long as it does not directly infringe upon the freedom of other humans.

I don't think the main problem here is one of dehuamization, it's one of freedom.

You got one group of people who want to force women not to wear X, you got another group who want to force women to wear X, the freedom of the actual woman is disregard in both cases, because God forbid women have certain freedoms to choose eh ?....

With that said I highly doubt that a lot of burka wearing women are not doing so without an element of coercion involve.

If that is the case then the issue isn't so much the burka, it's the coercion element involved, but some people who put on this act about how they are just so appalled about the lack of freedom of women concerning the burka (when it suits an anti islam/pro Christian narrative) are not the freedom/equality lovers for women they think they are or act as if they are when it comes to women in other areas.

As such the coercion element won't really get dealt with but a more simplified, BAN THE BURKA calls will become louder.

Two main sides will compete, Christians/conservatives/alt right/anti islam who will argue for the freedom of women, to fight against the insanity of multicultural marxism, to stop the secret invasion of Islamic terror and sharia law, to fight against the evils of islam...BAN THE BURKA.

The other side, an assortment of "lefties" who reject the ban as singling out islam, to be used as just another Islamic fear mongering tactic to maintain and divide the population against the ruling class of the patriarchal/racist/white/Christian/capitalistic/imperial/the 1%

You don't need to talk to a women who was in a swim suit beauty pageant to know that it is sexual objectification. Just as you don't need to talk to Princess Peach to know she is a damsel in distress or not. The more I think about this, the more I find the argument silly.

Are knights in armor dehumanized, people wearing vampire costumes, nuns wearing habits, school children wearing a school uniform, or a football team wearing protective gear? No, none of them are dehumanized in this case. Therefore, I conclude that wearing a Burka does not within itself dehumanize women.

Nevertheless, Islam as well as Christianity are oppressive religions and many women wear burkas out of fear of repercussions as opposed to dressing up for Halloween. Furthermore, burkas are sexist attire. In the sense that males are not allowed to wear burkas anymore than males are allowed to dress up in a nun habit. Just as a nun would get in trouble for wearing a priest's garment, a priest would get in trouble for wearing a nun's habit.

In summary, burkas are not dehumanizing but are sexist. Males should be allowed to wear burkas!

Ask the WOMEN ? if freedom is...do as you wish without causing harm to others..and consider in public that scant is acceptable but not outright and flagrant body exposure...
like walking around in sexy underwear only...then most women probably would like clothing options as most women on EARTH do anyway...SADLY...this is NOT about women

This subject is about POWER and CONTROL...and Middle East GOD garbage is merely a TOOL used for OPPRESSION through FEAR-INTIMIDATION-VIOLENCE...the designers of the Allah God farce took the JEW GOD of MOSES and the Torah and spun it into a hardcore version of another GOD..ALLAH and Comic Book = QURAN...as a way to create their own identity = ISLAM...this happens 600 years after the JESUS farce and the Roman Church spin with their new GOD JESUS and Bible Comic Book...the allah God follows the model of the Roman Church...create a new GOD..new Comic Book..new DOGMA for power and control...it's very obvious...

and as always WOMEN are seen a breeding DOGS that are expendable..and to remain totally powerless...they (psychopath men) did not want competition...women are smarter ! and more genuine ....this was a threat to their weak masculinity...EGO

so they hide women in potato sacks and cover their faces so they become invisible
literally moving body bags ! INSANE...so horrifically OBSOLETE and DEGRADING for
the female HUMAN LIFE FORM...which is just as capable if not more so in many endeavors then RETARDED MALES trapped in some GOD cage DOGMA...
