It appears to be more than a tad ironical and hypocritical that Christians chose to single out one rule of God in the Bible. . . . . . .

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, As with womankind: it is abomination. " (Leviticus 18:22)

Since the verse is about as ambiguous as a priest with a handful of nuts, Here are a few interpretations one may wish to consider:

* You shall not tell lies to a man but you can tell lies to a woman.

* If you are going to lie (as in having sex) with a man it must not be the same way as with a woman.

* Of course, If you are a woman you have to have sex with a man differently as you would with a woman.

* If, As a man, You have developed gay inclinations you shouldn't just lie there with a man like a dodo as you would when you go to bed with your wife.

* If one were to accept "mankind" as meaning "the entire human race" and "lie" meaning sex then if you are going to shag everybody in existence it must not be in the same way as with a woman.

So, There you have it. . . . The Bible lays down the law as clear as a toilet bowl after a hard night out.

In other words, Do what you want then find some ambiguous passage in a book full of incredulous myths and twist it around to fit in (was that a pun? ) with what you want.
