A suit filed against tech giant Cisco Systems for workplace discrimination against a Dalit engineer is likely to be a precedent-setting case that shines a spotlight on caste as a global phenomenon.

In a 1916 essay, Dr. BR Ambedkar, The Dalit civil rights leader and chief architect of the Indian constitution, Wrote that "if Hindus migrate to other regions on earth, Indian caste would become a world problem. "

Less than three months ago, A suit filed against a multibillion-dollar tech giant in California proved those words to be enduringly prophetic.

On June 30, California"s Department of Fair Employment and Housing regulators sued Cisco Systems Inc. , Alleging that the company failed to prevent discrimination, Harassment and retaliation against a Dalit engineer " anonymised as "John Doe" " by two Brahmin employees, Sundar Iyer and Ramana Kompella, Following two inconclusive internal reviews.

According to the complaint, As John Doe"s manager for two years, Iyer denied him bonuses and stalled his promotions after discovering the engineer"s caste. Cisco"s human resources department told Doe that "caste discrimination was not unlawful" and took no corrective action. Kompella, Who took over as Doe"s manager after Iyer, Continued to discriminate against him.

What makes the case groundbreaking is that caste is not recognised as a form of discrimination under US federal law, And Cisco is the first American company to be sued for it.

As one of the world"s oldest forms of social stratification, caste prejudice is generally thought of as a problem unique to the Indian subcontinent, Not a practice that festers in multinational offices.

Rather than being shed across borders, caste travels and reproduces itself within diasporic South Asian communities, Speaking to the resilient and deep-rooted mindset that accompanies the practice.

"Wherever we [Indians] go in the world, We tend to take our two things with us: one is chilli and pickle, And the other is caste, " Meena Varma, Executive Director at the International Dalit Solidarity Network, Told TRT World.

"In the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, Which is coming from a western lens, We forget that Dalit lives haven"t ever mattered for three thousand years. "

An all-encompassing cosmology that conflates occupation and purity into a single social system, Caste has the ability to determine every aspect of one"s life, From where you can work to who you can marry.

Dalits and Adavasis, India"s indigenous tribal population, By virtue of being outside the caste hierarchy, Are designated the lowest rung in society and are forced to endure structural apartheid " from profound socio-economic injustices, Segregated schools and temples, Denial of public amenities, To brutal violence at the hands of "upper" castes.

Caste discrimination still remains highly visible and contentious in India, where it has been constitutionally prohibited since 1950 and systems of historical redress through affirmative action policies have been put in place.

Spirituality is used to legitimise discrimination, Too.

"Take the concept of karma for example " whatever you experience in this birth, Is the result of your actions in a previous birth. If you are born a Dalit, That means you did not follow Dharmic principles in your past life, " she added.

While caste-based prejudice in places like the US might not be as overt as in India, It becomes transplanted wherever South Asian immigrants find themselves.

"Given the reality that a large segment of the Indian American population was born and socialised in India, We see a more direct replication of caste-based practices and discrimination, " Sangay Mishra, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Drew University, Told TRT World.

A few findings conducted in recent years have been able to shine a light on a prickly issue that many in the diaspora tend to shun from addressing.

Ayyathurai describes the IITs as "the fiefdom of Brahmins in independent India" and function as a vector for what he designates as "Global Brahminism, " or the "global ascendance of local racism and casteism" to take root in international firms.

Basically, The government is saying that they believe caste is covered under race. "

"But it"s not a race issue. Those doing the discriminating are more or less the same race. And it"s not always a religious issue either, Though it can be entangled. It can take place amongst any religious group, Whether you"re Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh or Muslim, " Varma explained.

Ayyathurai believes that the "unprecedented" Cisco case is a "watershed moment" which "will show how Brahminism is not a local but a global phenomenon, " and one with far-reaching implications across the Indian diaspora as well as in India, Where an anti-caste judiciary is yet to emerge.

While legal mechanisms are important in preventing casteist practices, Stringent measures implemented against it in the workplace need to be incorporated as well.

The Indian American Alliance Against Caste (IAAAC), A coalition of prominent community-based organisations representing Dalits in the South Asian diaspora, Has urged for a proactive approach to addressing caste-based discrimination in a letter to CEOs of the 25 largest tech firms in the US.

The problem folks, As I always say, Is Hinduism.

The problem happened in America. America has a caste system problem. Look what they did to Africans for 400 years. They treated Africans as slaves. Now Trump wants Africans treated as shitholes. Starbuck's treats blacks as toilet squatters.

This confirms Indians are working in the 25 largest tech firms in the US.
Harikrish was right Indians are high achievers and proud and will not be discriminated against their wishes.

This case proves Indian Americans have more rights than Africans ever did. Indians can sue for discrimination in the workplace. But Africans were subjected to 400 years of slavery and slavery became an accepted part of American culture.
But Indians are different.
The big difference is Indians are educated and know the law and their rights. The Africans who were brought in as slaves to America were low IQ illiterate Africans found in the jungles of Africa living a subhuman existence. Their signature qualifier as slaves were their black skin and negroid appearance.
Even though slavery has been abolished Africans are still bearing the stigma of their history and remain black skinned with their pronounced negroid appearance. Their lives are worth less after slavery was abolished.
I am sure the BLM will seize on this Cisco discrimination lawsuit to show even Indians have more rights that African. But there aren't any blacks in high tech companies that can be represented. Which was why it was never raised as an issue by the BLM before.

". . . If Hindus migrate to other regions on earth, Indian caste will become a world problem. "

All the way back in 1916 Ambedkar saw the inherent evil in hinduism, And predicted what we are seeing now.

Ambedkar also said things that explain what the moron said above. Ambedkar said that Hindus were unable to see their faults and could only see the world through the lens of castes.

Notice that the moron's response is, "Indians in America are still better in comparison than Africans in America. " (! )

Unless we take Ambedkar's warning seriously, Hindus will be successful in transplanting their disease to America.

America believes in freedom of religion, Assuming all religions to be equal under the law. But of course, Part of Mr. Ambedkar's warning is that Hinduism is not a religion, But a social disease masquerading as religion. It this way it may slip under the defences of America.

India realized years ago that if it wanted to ever progress, It had to outlaw casteism. America has yet to come to this realization, Having never come across anything as vile as Hinduism.

If you read Ambedkar's writings, You will be amazed he wrote those things so long ago. I posted his article on DDO years ago. And here we are today, Watching the sickness he warned us about trying to take hold in America.

Thank God the authorities in California saw this infection early and took action.

God is teaching us the ETs use a different racial financial system to manage their culture and works well to fund the genetic goals from God to remove all pain and risk by God-ordained ET racism. Salary depends on race and age. Raises are given on birthdays; depending on how many children you support.

The genetic goals from God have been reached, So it's time to change the ET money systems; but not the "chip technology" to monitor for criminal thieves. With chips and computerized digits for money, Thieves will be removed quickly from societies. Yahweh has 30 years to set up the tally stick money methods of honest accounting to show the physical evidence to the ETs of metaphorical and metaphysical 144000 translated adult Gods and Goddesses in immortal bodies without the veil of forgetfulness from God.

It was an Indian who sued Cisco for workplace discrimination. Learn to read nigger Ethang5. .

After 400 years of African slavery in America. Americans know niggers are black people of African origin.
The Issue at Cisco is about caste distinctions which is not recognized as a form of discrimination under US federal law, And Cisco is the first American company to be sued for it.

Quote from article: "What makes the case groundbreaking is that caste is not recognised as a form of discrimination under US federal law, And Cisco is the first American company to be sued for it. "

It took America 400 years before it recognized African slavery as a form of discrimination. But the educated high achieving Indians will not tolerate any discrimination because they are not niggers (black people of African origin).

Obviously the Indians know their rights and the law unlike Africans who are still protesting that Black Lives Matter after enduring 400 years of African slavery. Many blacks see this BLM protest as necessary because African lives are worth less after slavery was abolished.

Workplace discrimination is not an issue with Blacks because the majority of blacks are unemployed or don't work for high tech companies like Cisco.
There are no caste distinctions among blacks because they all have the same black skin and negroid appearance of niggers (black people of African origin).

Blacks are fighting for basic recognition that Black Lives Matter and can be seen as competing for the space that SPCA occupies which is already very popular with the American people. If only whites could see blacks as African apes with Christian names black status would improve.

It is still a long way before blacks will be seen as Cisco employees. So the Cisco case is largely academic to blacks. The SPCA and BLM approach is more appealing to them. In both cases just their black skin and negroid appearance qualifies them.

Harikrish biblical scholar and spiritual leader.

It is still a long way before blacks will be seen as Cisco employees.

The dumb caste cripple idiot still thinks it's a race issue.

But the author of his shithole country's constitution earned that Hindus would import their sickness to any country they were allowed to infect.

And we see the danger clearly in how our own Hindu moron is unable to see past his caste mentality to why California brought the suit.

In 1948, Negative discrimination on the basis of caste was banned by law and further enshrined in the Indian constitution. Americans need to revisit their constitution.

In a thread titled, "Ambedkar Warned The World", The moron has not mentioned Ambedkar or Hinduism in 10 posts!

Shithole Hindus in America are trying to IMPORT casteism to America moron.

And it is the state of California bringing the lawsuit, Not any Indian. The end result will be that America will outlaw casteism just as India has done.

The central tenant of racist Hinduism will be outlawed in the world's 2 largest democracies!

The problem is Hinduism. The problem has always been Hinduism. Ambedkar warned us all the way back in 1916.

Indians will not tolerate any discrimination because they are not niggers

Not only are they niggers, They are being sued for importing their vile caste discrimination here.

Ambedkar warned us that this would happen. Hinduism is incompatible with democracy. Even India has outlawed Hinduism's sleazy caste system.

India is a pigsdive of discrimination. Roots in the streets daily opposing discrimination.

Keep the 3rd world slavers out of America. Listen to Ambedkar. Hinduism is vile.

Approximately 100 000 people are currently living in Old Fadama. In 2010 the number was 79 000. The slum is located in the heart of Accra, To the northwest of the city"s central business district. It comprises a mix of residential and commercial self-built structures and 56% of the residents earn their living from informal business activities. 72% of the population of Old Fadama"s current residents originate from one of Ghana"s three northern regions. Nigger Ethang has been calling India a dirty country when he is living in Accra Ghana which is nothing but a dirty slum and Ghana ranked the 7th dirtiest country in the world. Busted nigger Ethang!

Housing stats:
According to the Ghana Housing Profile, 60% of all urban households in Ghana occupy single rooms. Only 25% of households own a house. The remainder either rent or live rent-free in a family house. Urban housing is also regarded as very expensive.

About 45% of Accra residents live in some form of slum housing. These areas are overcrowded, Have limited access to piped water and poor sanitation facilities. But this is only part of the picture. Slum housing means more to local residents than the stereotypical depictions of deprivation and poverty.

265 slums identified in Accra alone.
About 265 slums at different stages of development have been identified in Accra, A senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Prince K.
