Unless you're a vegetarian why is this even a question? While not logistically possible on a large scale, hunting and fishing is more humane than farming.

Yes. Some people rely on hunting and fishing. Eskimos rely on hunting whales and sh!t, etc etc.

Also, hunting is necessary to maintain healthy numbers of animals. In the southern states, they need to hunt wild pigs/boars to keep their numbers in check due to the lack of predators(Jaguars, Cougars, wolves, etc) that would naturally regulate their numbers.

In Africa, it's best to have hunting parks that help maintain the land where people(like you and me) go to hunt. The money they make goes towards maintaining their property(animals, land, resources) that would otherwise be shot up uncontrollably by poaching.

So yeah, although some people are against hunting, it's perfectly good when done with control.
