If the point is to adapt the rules to disabilities or to segregate locker rooms, respectively, you may agree or disagree with it but at least it's a coherent argument. However, if the point is to give a chance to people who otherwise wouldn't be able to participate, it's akin to "who can whisper the loudest": if you're mildly disabled, a normal man who isn't gifted with excellent athleticism, you're out of luck, but if you're even more disabled, a woman or a cripple, you're able to participate and even win medals.
