From now on, until the end of the season, I will make daily picks for top 25 basketball games.
December 2 games
SIU Edwardsville at #13 Indiana

This one should be over quickly. Even without OG Anunoby, Indiana is the clear better team. The North Carolina and Kansas games showcased Indiana at their best, and SIU-Edwardsville should just allow the Hoosiers to recover from the North Carolina game.

Indiana 104 SIUE 78

It's Saturday, which means a loaded slate of top 25 games. There are 4 games between top 25 teams, including the massive UCLA Kentucky showdown. So without further ado, here are my predictions

Yesterday: 1-0. Season: 1-0

#11 UCLA vs #1 Kentucky

This is the cream of the crop, the game the tops all others. 2 blue bloods, each with fantastic freshmen, will go head to head in Rupp Arena. Lonzo Ball has wow'ed NBA scouts and executives this far, but Kentucky has their own talented group of freshmen, and home court advantage. Ball will put up another ridiculous statline, but asking him to lead the Bruins to a W against the best team in the country will be too tall a task

Kentucky 89 UCLA 78

St. Joseph's at #2 Villanova

It's another edition of the classic BBig 5 showcase, and Villanova will be looking to stay undefeated against one of their crosstown rivals. St Joes is coming of 3 straight losses, including their most recent loss to fellow Big 5 foe Temple. That doesn't exactly sound like a recipe for success against a veteran team like Villanova

Villanova 79 St, Joseph's 56

Oklahoma at #17 Wisconsin

If Buddy Hield were still at Oklahoma, this might be one of the headline games of the day. But Hield graduated last year, and the Sooners are unranked. That doesn't mean they're still not a good team, as senior Jordan Woodard is one of the top players in the country. He won't be able to carry the team on his back though, against Nigel Hayes and the Kohl Center crowd.

Wisconsin 67 Oklahoma 59

#25 West Virginia at #6 Virginia

It's a battle between 2 of the top defenses in the country. "Press Virginia" forced a ridiculous 40 turnovers in an easy win over manhattan, while Virginia struggled in a closer than expected victory over Ohio State. WV will get their turnovers, but the leadership and 3 point shooting of London Perrantes will make all the difference.

Virginia 71 West Virginia 58

Morehead State at #15 Purdue

This one could get ugly fast . Purdue, coming off a frustrating loss to Louisville, will come out angry. Morehead State will serve as the punching bag.

Purdue 97 Morehead State 63

Stanford at #4 Kansas

Stanford lead at the half against #12 St. Mary's, and looked like they might be able to pull off the upset. But they ran out of gas and got dominated in the 2nd, ultimately losing by 15. Coming into Allen Fieldhouse after such a deflating loss, isn't exactly a good remedy.

Kansas 89 Stanford 62

#7 Xavier at #9 Baylor

UCLA Kentucky may be the most interesting and best game on paper, but this one might be the most exciting. 2 teams with impressive resumes will duel in Waco, both looking to move to 8-0. Xavier has been lead by Trevon Bleuitt and Edmond Sumner, while Johnathan Motley has been an absolute beast in the paint. In a game like this, home court usually makes a big difference. But the Ferrell hasn't been know to be a very intimidating venue. Bleuitt makes a couple big plays late to lead Xavier to a signature road win.

Xavier 69 Baylor 64

North Florida at #22 Syracuse

North Florida is coming off hosting instate rival Florida, and they got thumped by 31. Expect a similar result in the Carrier Dome, as Syracuse gets an easy W.

Syracuse 76 North Florida 47

Central Arkansas at #18 Butler

Butler is coming off an impressive road win at Utah. Usually you might want to worry about a letdown, but UCA isn't exactly a quality team or even a quality mid major.

Butler 93 UCA 57

#21 Rhode Island at Providence

One of of the best in state rivalries will happen again this weekend, and 2 teams looking to at an early signature win to their resumes will duel in Providence. E.C Matthews is one of the best players in the country, but struggled in a road loss to quality mid major Valparaiso. Jared Terrell was terrific in that game, but Providence is the home team, and that will be the difference.

Providence 67 Rhode Island 65

Maine at #5 Duke

Credit to Maine for speaking out against the controversial North Carolina HB2 law, but on the field, this matchup is absolutely lopsided. Duke rolls.

Duke 104 Maine 67

# 8 Gonzaga vs #16 Arizona

This "Hoophall LA" showdown with feature 2 traditional basketball powers. Gonzaga is coming off an impressive tournament win in the Adovcare Invitational, which included wins over Florida and Iowa State, Arizona meanwhile, suffered a frustrating loss against Butler. In such a tight matchup like this depth can be the difference Gonzaga has 7 players averaging at least 7 points. That will help with greatly.

Gonzaga 76 Arizona 71

Savannah State at #23 Oregon

This matchup will be ugly. The only question is, when does Dana Altman take out his starters?

Oregon 113 Savannah State 59

Akron at #10 Creighton

Akron has quietly impressed, including a solid win at Air Force. They may very well be the favorites to win the MAC. Creighton cannot overlook the Zips, who will give them everything they can handle.

Creighton 78 Akron 70.

#13 Louisville at Grand Canyon

As crazy as it sounds, this could be a major trap for Louisville. Grand Canyon is a quality mid major, and way better than their home loss to SIU Edwardsville indicates. Throw in the potential for a letdown after a big win against Purdue, a cross country trip to Arizona, and one of the most underrated student sections in basketball, and you've got a game that screams major upset all over it.

Grand Canyon 74 Louisville 72

Not quite the score but the deficit was only two points off! How do you like Indiana's chances going forward?

Apologies for the late reply, but I think Indiana will be safety in the tournament if they hold their own at home. They still have those 2 quality non-conference wins, not to mention a talented roster, even without Blackmon and Anunoby.

2/2/17 Predictions

After a long and unintentional hiatus, I will resume making predictions.

Missouri at #18 Florida

The worst team in the SEC facing quite possibly the hottest team in the SEC. Florida wins big.

Florida 86 Missouri 58

#5 Arizona at Oregon State

The Beavers, playing at home, will play hard and keep this one close early. Conference road games are never easy, but this one shouldn't be too much trouble for the hottest team in the Pac 12

Arizona 77 Oregon State 61

Arizona State at #13 Oregon

The Sun Devils are coming off a loss at home to Washington State. That says everything about how this game will go

Oregon 93 Arizona State 61

#1 Gonzaga at BYU

Gonzaga's first game as the #1 team will be a major road test. The Marriott Center and its 18,000+ fans will prove an intimidating and hostile venue against the Zags. Meanwhile on the court, Gonzaga's balanced attack will go against BYU's fast paced offense featuring big man Eric Mika. If BYU can hit their shots. This will be a very close game. If the Zags hit their shots and neutralize Mika, this could be like all the other WCC games the Zags have played. Judging from the previous encounters by these teams though, expect a fast-paced nailbiter.

Gonzaga 89 BYU 84

St Mary's at Pacific

The Gaels, who are overshadowed by that team from Spokane, are quietly rolling through their WCC counterparts. This game will be no different, despite scrappy Pacific's attempts to make this game ugly

St Mary's 71 Pacific 54
