The number of companies that call themselves "tech companies" includes movie streaming service Netflix and e-commerce site Amazon. It seems that anything related to computers is now known as "tech". And it needs to stop. The dictionary defintion for "technology" reads "the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry."
Everything ever invented is technology. Using the term literally, General Motors, Dow-DuPont, and Coca Cola are "tech companies". And it's bizarre to call Netflix a "tech company" when we never used the same term to refer to the company that it put out of business, Blockbuster. From now on, here's how we should refer to various "tech companies"
Apple- Electronics Company
Google- Information Services Company
Facebook and Twitter- Social Network Companies
Amazon- Internet Retail Company
Microsoft- Software Company

I know about several upcoming events dealing with mining and cryptocurrency but blockchain London https://bisshow.com... is truly the largest one. The event is noteworthy for it takes place in the capital of England and the amount of visitors (more than 2000) and speakers (more than 60) is really impressive. I guess many aspects of dealing with the blockchain technology will be considered, so if you work in this field, be ready to buy tickets in advance.
