About Me:I'm a pretty easy going guy. I try to see other people's perspective on things. I can't stand stupidity. I don't see someone as stupid for not sharing my opinions, just if their opinions aren't informed ones. I'm proud where I'm from and who I am. I don't think there is anything wrong with that unless you think you are better than others because of it.
Activities:Music, reading, studying... pretty basic and boring.
Beliefs:I'm a christian. I don't judge others and expect the same treatment likewise. I'm consider myself a completely rational and logical person. I don't push my beliefs on others and understand people being uncomfortable with those that do. I am completely aware that God's existence can't be proven. Despite that, I have faith. It may seem like circular logic to an atheist, but it's something you would have to experiance yourself to understand. I do believe the bible is God's word. That said, you can't deny it was written by men. Over time, some things have been left out and some things have been added, but I believe the heart of it is still God's word. I don't take all of it literally. I believe some things are stories simply to convey a lesson.
Books:1984, animal farm, and then there was one, redneck manifesto, to kill a mockingbird, still read comic books...never quite grew out of it.
Movies:The goonies, office space, slackers, old school, wedding crashers, shawshank redemption, the green mile, cold mountain
Music:I'll just name genres, bands would take forever. Punk, hardcore, metal (some forms not all), old school R&B, old blues, southern rock (at least one band from every generation of it), Irish folk and traditional
Quotes:just about anything Mark Twain or C.S. Lewis said, you reap what you sow (paraphrased), Face the facts of being what you are, for that is what changes what you are - Soren Kierkegaard (a lot from him as well), There's no such thing as a normal life, just life. So get on with it - Tombstone, Truth crushed to the earth is truth still and like a seed will rise again - Jefferson Davis
Sports Teams:Not much of a sports guy. I do like MMA and Boxing. The last boxer I really paid attention to was Oscar De La Hoya. I think G. St.P and Anderson Sylva are my favorites at MMA
TV Shows:The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Heroes, Lost, Band of Brothers
