Where do we stand with the Law (Torah)?

I believe that the Law has not been abolished that we should live by the Torah, it teaches us about loving one another and the wages of our sin. It is our Ten Commandments, it is our outline. I am not saying we need a sin sacrifice because I know that Jesus gave himself for our sins but I am saying that if we lived our lives the way the Word originally inteded us to live it then wouldn't life be different for everyone? "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God"....
