Cell phones are a giant distraction, its bad enough that students sneak around and break the rules but once phones are freely used the situation becomes even worse. If cell phones became allowed, the fear of being caught is no longer instiled in their minds and they freely go on Facebook,MySpace, and other social networks that keep the mind off school. Cell phiones should be allowed in school because they allow parents to contact their kids and allow the kids to contact parents or other people if an emergancy occers. Cell phones can also be used to for class work because they allow students to look up research and use tools such as calculators....
