First of all I'd like to say that examples of memorials eligible for DGR status would include structures such as statues, honour rolls, decorative gates, monuments, obelisks, ornamental bridges and fountains, that are a focus for public commemorations. I am in favor of the death penalty. I believe that it is a proper form of law, effective punishment, and an appropriate way to serve justice. While I am in favor of the death penalty, I believe that it should also only be brought down on the convicted person under certain circumstances; severe ones, at that. Such as murder. When the government allows a law to pass that is wrong and against our morals and what we believe in are we suppose to just let this slide... or do something about it? We all aware that there were laws against women in the past, such as women not being allowed to vote. This law was unfair against women. Same with the laws that allowed slavery, and segregation. They were all against some one or certain group of people, and all together morally wrong. Civil Disobedience corrected these unjust laws...
