Hi I believe that the global flood is a myth because The biggest problem with Noah's flood (and there are many) is that we find fossils of species restricted to only certain layers. If the flood story was true we'd expect to see largely random mixing, and this just isn't the case. We don't see anachronistic fossils. We don't see bunny rabbits in Precambrian rock layers. We don't see humans buried alongside dinosaurs. Why isn't this the case? Why didn't even one dinosaur manage to make it t...

Hi. I'm my name is Nathanael and I'm 16. I believe people believe in god because they don't have another answer. In other words they follow a non-existent thing to compensate for their ignorance because they're scared of the unknown and want to make it known by any means necessary including convincing themselves there is a higher power. What I don't get is why people push this on their children. Why not teach them all ways and let them decide what they choose. I was forced into religion but now...

Should the Supreme Court have lifetime appointments?

The Supreme Court Justices, when appointed, are offered a lifetime appointment. This should not be the case. The Constitution does not state "lifetime appointments." but rather cites maintaining "good behaviour". "Good"? I strongly disagree with this. Where's the rationale for this indefiniteness? If the argument is to disassociate politics from the judicial branch, then fine, this can still be done with an appointment of 25 years or even less. Lifetime appointments should be disallowed....
