• Helplines are helpless.

    I believe that the vast majority of helplines are actually
    helpless. People need help from those
    who already have an emotional connection, such as friends and family. If they don’t have any friends or family that
    can help them, then they need a real flesh and blood person in front of them
    that can help them and talk to them.

  • Helplines or helplesslines?

    Hapless souls sit with telephone headsets on in front of computers and scroll through a million possible answers to a million possible questions from a manual they hardly understand and then attempt to answer you in a language they have barely mastered! If this is the future of telephonic service then heaven HELP us!
