Are northern English people the same as Lowland Scots?

Asked by: Adam2
  • For the most part, they're Germanic/Nordic

The north of England and south of Scotland descend from the same people. The north England it depends, but for the most part they have remained Nordics. With the Lowlands of Scotland, it was even more so. Both are Germanic peoples. Northern English sounds like a Nordic language if you think about it.
And both with a history of notorious racism and orthodoxness.
