A barrier stops things and seeing that so many women have made it to leadership roles in America, Clearly they were not stopped.
Yes, Being a woman can present various hurdles in making it to leadership roles but many/most of them are put there by the women themselves as women are much more likely to leave a career to pursue raising children. Just being a woman can present it's own hurdles as men tend to be more aggressive and able to assess risk better. This not only aids men in performing leadership roles but to pursue advancement in the career. Women tend to exercise too much caution that could mean less clients and lower expectation goals.
Fact is, Denying advancement based on gender is prohibited by not just law but by the population. Not only could a company face a lawsuit if found guilty of such actions but could also loose business should knowledge of sexist behavior come out. Tho there may be some cases where it has played a role, It makes more sense to assume that there are fewer women in leadership roles for valid and non-sexist reasons.
One personal example I would like to site is when I worked on the assembly lines. We got paid on a rate basis where if you produced more product that day, You earned an equal increase in pay. For instance, If the rate was 100 pc. Per. Hr. And you made 1, 000 pieces in the 8 hr day, You made 10 hrs. Of pay. Fact is, Women tend to have more nimble fingers so they tended to produce more therefore earn more per day. Does that make the fact that they tended to earn more sexist? No, As it's based on performance and not gender.
There aren't any barriers holding back women in the west. They can get a job a man would have to bust his ass for simply because they're women. If a man has no connections at the business they seek to work in, They won't get the job if a woman with equal experience and qualification applies. Period.
The only reason women seem to be persecuted these days is because #1 they don't compete as hard for a decent wage as a man does, #2 they do not seek out more demanding positions, Preferring a better shared time at work and at home, And #3 a few extremely rich men decided they wanted women as sex slaves and couldn't keep from assaulting them at work too. A woman that applies herself can attain as much as, If not more, Than the common man.
But facts don't matter to the people that keep yelling that women are persecuted. The fact is that some people are just hopelessly f***ing stupid, And nothing you say will ever change their minds. All you can do is hope that some tragic act of 'nature' balances out the stupidity in our population before this entire nation internally combusts from the fart-sniffing these retards do.
