Banning Muslim hijab: Does Hijab wearing undermine security and intelligence efforts?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • Simple and clear

The hijab in public places could be used an instrument of concealment. In private places the matter is a dress code of preference or choice. Religion, or customary behavior is irrelevant to instructions on securing protection for all. Options or concessions signify bias from a norm and are ultimately self-defeating

  • America has freedom of religion.

America has freedom of religion. Everyone is supposed to be allowed to
practice their own religion without being bothered by anyone else. We can’t ban Muslim women from wearing a
hijab any more than we can ban Jewish people from wearing yarmulkes. We have to be sensitive and respectful of
    everyone’s religious beliefs.

  • Muslim hijab is a personal choice and right

Fashion is a right of every individual. The government has no right under any circumstances to influence the look and orientation of a certain individual. The hijab is a peace of garment that a woman can ware because of her upbringing and beliefs and that is her right. The Hijab might be making it more difficult for the military to perform actions of identification however it is not in their hands to decide if people can or not ware it.
