  • They fit the definition of a terrorist

Terrorism the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. The KKK definitely fits this definition; while they are not as violent as they used to be, they clearly still use intimidation to fulfill political goals, such as in the Ferguson riots. Other similar groups including the Mafia and the Black Panther Party could also fit this description, for the same reasons given for the KKK.
Because these groups fit the definition of terrorists, they should theoretically be one of the groups targeted by the War on Terror.

  • They are clearly terrorists, even by definition.

By looking at a simple definition of 'terror' we see that these groups have and may be currently causing terror for some ethnic groups. This is in no way different to any other group classed as 'terrorists' except that they come from the USA. These groups, along with extremist Christians slandering the LGBT community, cause terror and discontent in people with bully tactics, the same as militant Islamic fundamentalists use weapons to bully people. Something must be done when someone is afraid for being part of an ethnic group

  • Terrorism Is above ethnicity, because it is an action

Terrorism is not exclusive to any one type of person. It is a conscious action one takes upon another. Terror organizations are hard to define because terror can exist in so many ways, however it is certainly possible for a person or group to be a terrorist organization based on actions, not race, age, religious views, background, et cetera. Actions define people, not labels

  • No they are not.

They are not apart of any terrorist act. You say yes because you disagree with what they do. They are trying to make the country better for themselves by doing what they do. When obama first got elected the black panthers stood outside of the poling station and threatened people. They did that because majority of people would not have voted for him. He had the hispanic vote because he was and still is allowing them to live here untaxed. The KKK had protests against obama being elected peacefully they never stuck a person when he got elected. All they did was threaten people Just like the Black panthers. Back in the day they were considered terrorist organizations but today they are because they can't burn a person at the stake without being criticized. So Don't place your dislike into this segment until you know what you are talking about.

  • Its unfair to group the two of those together

The black panther party and the kkk are not similar parties. This question is heavily baited and unfair. While the kkk is obviously a terrorist group the black panthers are not. Tell me how many churches the black panther party has blown up. Tell me if there has ever been a person killed by the black panther party for attempting to register to vote. On the other hand tell me how many people were provided free lunch by the kkk. Tell me who the kkk was defending themselves from. Tell me which of these groups has ideology of white supremacy, white nationalism, anti-immigration, Anti communism, Christian terrorism, Anti Catholicism, Antisemitism, Homophobia, and neo-fascism and which one has ideology of anti racism. Ask yourself which party is truly a terrorist organization.
