Countries should ban products which have been produced by child labor and be willing to pay more for those products which have been produced without child labor. Companies should be actively policing their products and how they are produced and consumers should buy products they know are produced only in "fair" trade companies. Consumers should be more involved and informed of the affects their purchase choices have and take the time to make ethical choices.
Countries should ban the import of goods produced by child labor, because child labor is morally wrong. Children should not be forced to work for a living. Children should be in school, earning an education. The mass production of items by child laborers increases the amount of cheap products on the market, but it is at a cost of the childhoods of millions.
Child labor can make kids stronger and better more determined workers when they grow up. Also this helps the country. With the children helping the country can sell these items and help the economy of the country. If you lived in a third world country what would you want a poor economy or child labor?
