• Unarmed innocent passionate teen murdered

Trayvon Was not a thug. Had a small incident involving weed residue at school. Was profiled unnecessary and was told to not follow Trayvon. Trayvon was unarmed. As a 19 year old white male I know that profiling happens all the time with these entitled neighborhood watch type people who like to take the law into their own hands. If Zimmerman had just let him mind his business and go about his own they would both be alive. I HIGHLY doubt Trayvon attacked or threatened Zimmerman, However as a teen male if I saw an annoying ass adult following me I would tell him to fuck off. What do you expect? This guy is clearly a racist with pics of confederate flags and he clearly has mental health issues considering he decided to hunt Trayvon down with a gun and ZERO authority after being specifically instructed to not follow him. This is a classic example of injustice in our joke of an American justice system and happens all the time. Needs to stop. My heart goes out to the family and all affected and I hope George Zimmerman gets what he deserved eventually cuz he got away with murder.

  • He got away with murder

He killed that kid. Trayvon was unarmed. He's neighborhood watch? I need a 6 state radius between me and him. Time after time he pops up in the news as a scumbag. Remember everyone that wanted to take guns off the street and fight with fists. Take a beating, everyone lives to see another day. I don't wish ill upon anyone who doesn't deserve it, but cmon he should spend the rest of his life in jail.

  • Lack of Evidence Neede for Conviction

There was not enough evidence to convict George Zimmerman of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin. Just like OJ Simpson, the justice system failed to assert proper punishment. Zimmerman's karma was swift--since the verdict, his wife filed for divorce and he was arrested again on separate charges. Zimmerman's life will never be the same, just like Simpson's. They might have gotten away with murder, but they are shadows of the people they once were.

  • Zimmerman acted in self defense

George Zimmerman acted to protect himself. As a neighborhood watchman, he had every right to follow Trayvon to see what he was up to. If Martin was on his way to rob a house or deal with drugs, and had been caught, then Zimmerman would have been fired for not doing his job. Trayvon, feeling like he could take down this "creepy-ass cracker", decided to jump him. Feeling that his life was threatened, George shot his attacker to death. In Texas, where i live, if anyone attacks you, there is a full right to shoot the attacker. What the problem is is that the media, controlled by the liberal government, has used this small incident to attack gun laws in the South and spread their lies about how guns are "dangerous" and should be banned, forgetting about the Second Amendment that our founding fathers wrote out and signed. George merely acted on the spur of the moment, and the only result was that one more criminal paid the price for his actions.

  • No, George Zimmerman did not get away with murder.

George Zimmerman in my belief has a lot of issues. He is currently not a very productive citizen to society. However he did not murder Trayvon Martin. An examination of all of the physical evidence and testimony would lead to the conclusion that was rendered at trial. Anyone coming to any other conclusion is only looking at what they wish the truth was.

  • Yes, Zimmerman got away with murder.

Trayvon Martin was an unarmed 17 year old boy who was walking home from buying Skittles and Arizona juice. NOT A DRUG DEALER OR A ROBBER! Zimmerman did not act in self defense because had he done so he would of been the one yelling in fear in the audio instead of Trayvon. Also, if your in fear for your life you won't wait such a long time to finally pull the trigger, it's obvious what happened here. Trayvon was at least 100-150 pounds lighter than Zimmerman. If he was in such fear as he claimed he could of easily knocked him out in one punch instead of shooting him dead. He did not have to kill him, he chose to and given the fact that Trayvon was a black kid Zimmerman knew the odds of beating a murder case would be in his favor. Plus Zimmerman had enough money to hire the best liars...Opps! I mean lawyers. I'm not a racist but I still agree with Trayvon, he definitely fits the category of "creepy-ass cracker".
