Did the richard rojas manhattan incident signify an american vigilance problem?

Asked by: ilovejews7
  • Why are mass shootings and mass killings so prevalent in america? What can be done to stop these disturbing acts?

Richard Rojas killed 1 pedestrian, when he fiercely drove his car into a crowded manhattan street, aiming to kill as many people as possible. In 2015, there was a record number of 372 mass shooting which killed a record of number of 475 people. These incidents seem to be a new norm in america with mass shootings ranging into the hundreds annually. Why are people choosing to engage in such heinous acts? And what can be done to quell such heinous acts that are disturbingly more prevalent then the terrorist threat?
