Did you know that "bro" is originally British slang?

  • Though it sounds Spanish

The word was originally used in England during the 17th and later the 19th centuries. I thought it was an awesome discovery I made last night. A tomboy saying it to her buddies. It's such a strong term of endearment. I think Brits have more in common with our Mediterranean people than I thought before. Of course that puritanical Lutheran George II hated to see people happy that he put an end to that. The picture I put was of a Anglican church.
