Do Person's Behaivor is Chosen by Genes or by Environment?

Asked by: angelinasong
  • Both of course, but they serve different purposes.

Genes determine personality type, intelligence, and other cognitive abilities, whereas enviroment often influences negative or postive behavior within the spectrum of the given personality type. Enviroment also decides education, thus wisdom, and it may influence ideas and/or opinions to an extent. However, in the end, genes decide more. They ultimately decide personality type as extroversion versus introversion is caused by genes. So is a reliance on sensing or intuition, as well as a tendancy toward feeling or thinking. Even percieving and judgement are set in stone to a certain extent, due to genes and not enviroment.
