  • With zoos, everyone wins!

In the first place, zoos are a place of safety for animals and not just a place of entertainment. Zoos take in animals that can no longer survive on their own in the wild or animals that are injured-and they take care of these animals. Zoos also take in animals that no longer have a home anymore. In the wild, animals have to face lack of food, loss of environment, becoming someone else's dinner, and many other things. But you would never have to go through all of that hardship in zoos! Zoos are a win-win for us and the animals.

  • Good things in Zoos

Zoos do more good than harm because zoos take in animals that are endangered, injured. Zoos help animals that cant survive on there on. Animals in zoos don't need to face hunting, lack of food, or losing there habitat. If zoos are like this then animals will behave the same like they do in the wild.

  • Animals,let them be

Without doubt, I strongly believe that zoos do more harm than good because they keeled animals trapped in a place that looks like home, but really isn't. Just imagine it, the tiny living spaces, watching people mindlessly walking by, kids running around and then getting interrupted every hour giving you food and brushing your hair( or fur). Wouldn't it be extremely annoying? If people that work at the zoo or owned it had any common sense, they would realise that animals need more freedom. Animals, let them be.

Also, we humans only understand the life oppression animals to a certain extent. All we do is feed them, bath them and that's is it, we aren't letting them interact with their species whatsoever. We don't allow them to roam out in the wilderness to see what a peaceful life would be like. All we do is sit there and watch as they are being tortured so to speak. How many times have you sit there and stared at an animal, don't you think it just wants to pounce out of its tiny cage. Animals, let them be.

Therefore, it is evident that zoos are doing more harm than good towards animals. Picture it, Australia with no kangaroos. The fate of these innocent creatures is in your hands. Animals, let them be.

  • Zoos make animals depressed

You may think zoos are a fun place to learn, but you are wrong. Zoos are harmful to the animals they shelter. Zoos cause animals to act unnaturally. Most zoos provide poorly kept cages. Some animals are in cages that to small for them this makes them depressed and unhealthy. Did you know orcas (killer whales) that are kept in captivity are known to attack people. Those are just a few reasons that zoos are not cool.

  • Zoos are important

Zoos are important for animals. We can learn many things by observing it . It helps us to see the endangered speices . We can observe how they behave , how is their nature . How do they do activities etc . It helps us to gain more knowledge about the wild animals

  • Animals get mistreated.

First, Zoos and aquariums do more harm than good because animals get mistreated. According to the article ‘Animal Cruelty’, written by Michell Carr, states that the animals get stressed being in the zoo. They have people gawk at them, listen to children who bang on the windows of their enclosures, or have cameras flashing in their faces. This makes them frustrating, instead of roaming nature and having a peaceful life. Second, they don’t get enough exercise because the cages are small and doesn’t have enough space to play or stay in. Lastly, Animals aren't happy. Most of them are sad. This shows that the animals are stressed and does not like the life in the Zoo. These evidence shows that the animals are getting mistreated physically and mentally.

  • They are bad because they captivate animals and make them have abnormal behavior.

“repetitive behaviour, and described zoo animals behaving abnormally as zoochotic”.Some of the abnormal behaviors Travers refers to are biting on the bars of the enclosure, licking things in the exhibit such as bars or walls, pacing back and forth, vomiting, rocking back and forth, eating or playing with feces, and self harm.”

  • No, properly set up zoos are beneficial.

It's difficult to say whether all zoos are harmful or not. If a zoo is set up properly, with natural exhibits that allow the animals to live with their wild instinct, rather than ones that force them to do unnatural behavior (like pacing), then they can be good. Zoos can offer education to people about how wild animals live, and also about endangered animals; they can give us an appreciation for wildlife and the environment. Zoos are also able to participate in population reintroduction programs, if they choose to, which can help restore the population of animals in the wild.

  • No not really.

Zoos do not do more good than harm. They allows animals to be placed in a safe area free from harm once they are injured or endangered. It is a benefit to both people. People who want to see these animals and now can and people wish to preserve animals.
