    Germany does not have a constitution like we do. They are not granted the right of freedom of speech because it is not written into their government. Citizens can be jailed for saying something the government deems is inappropriate, Controversial, Or is something they do not like and want to make sure they have control

  • No Germany does not have freedom of speech

    You can be jailed for speech in Germany although news laws in 2018 just let citizens talk bad about high government holding potions. Near the same time another law was passed that they limit what you can say online. The government regulates there speech and have a legal term for"hate Speech". Which in America since there is true freedom of speech there is no legal term for "hate speech"
