Does the advancement of robotics always bring benefits to humanity?

  • Robotics is great

Robotics is great I will say that first robotics will probably take over a lot of our jobs, but there are such things even robots can't do for another hundred year such things as imagination and free will thats what makes humans humans. There will always be jobs were human will need to take over if a robot malfunctions. A man has already came up with three laws that make robots obey us no matter what because coding is basically giving the robots rules that they can't logically break these rules are.
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
There are absolutely no loop holes in these laws so there is no need to worry about what if the robots rebel against us. Robots are our future and they can help in many ways so do not let your fears stop us from going into the future.

  • Robotics is great.

And any advancement of it will benefit humanity in some way. Even if it is originally used for bad, people will find a way to use that bad advancement for good. I cannot think of any reason why an advancement of robotics would hurt mankind or leave it neutral. Robotics will always bring benefits to mankind.

  • The robot is destructive if they used in wrong hand.

Look at some time the UAV miss attack the innocent people at the war. US forces target 41 terrorists with the drone, it accomplishes missions with 1147 innocent citizen killed. These robots destruct many Pakistani people normal life. To these people lost the life by UAV strike, the US forces are wrong hand to control their robot to strike.

  • Can't be fully trusted

Robots can easily take over the jobs of millions of workers that really worked hard to get where they are at now, and AL robots (if designed in an advanced way) can develop ideas in their own system about how they are better and qualified for taking over the world

  • Not always, but sometimes.

Robotics can be a good way to advance the technology of the human race forward, but sometimes it is not a good idea. Someone has taught an AI robot to use guns, and that probably is not a good idea because the robot can malfunction and seriously injure, or possibly, kill someone nearby. Robotics, again, can be a good way to help push our human population farther into more advanced, futuristic technology, but sometimes it is not beneficial and can hurt people and damage our careers.

  • Advancements in robotics aren't always good.

I say that, yeah, advancements in robotics usually are beneficial. But think about it. If you have a job as a, say, cashier, and there is a new robot that can do the job of a cashier more efficiently and without pay, wouldn't you hate that? Of course, I am only 13 so I don't have a job, but I understand that. And also, robots with AI could, potentially, if made with actual "smart" AI, rise up and conquer us. But that, I know, is one of the "End of the World" conspiracy theories. Anyways, most of the time it is beneficial, but it is not beneficial in every field most of the time. (by fields I mean the range of things affected)

  • Robots are neither beneficial nor detrimental to humans

Robots can be used for anything. This is obvious. That's why they're neutral, not necessarily beneficial.

Your imagination is the limit for subcategories of robotic development that could be considered controversial in the future. Gyroscopic arms that keep guns steady, shape memory alloy components that allow for accurate mimicry of various body parts, insanely powerful hydraulic systems meant for crushing foes, etc.
