  • I'm influence by the Media

Media impacts our everyday lives greatly, mainly because everyone and everything is put on media websites. The information we receive could be completely false but we still believe it because everything is put on media sites. Media and Social Media outlets create international ignorance about many topics because we fail to look any further than a screen and our fingertips.

  • Yes, the media does influence us.

The media influences the way we go about life. The media makes people believe that they have to reach a certain standard to please other people. The media sets standards on how people should look, act, or live their lives; it takes away originality. The media also makes us believe things are true, even if you know for a fact that the things that are being told are lies because people believe things more easily if it came from offline.

  • Yes, that's what the media is for.

The media is designed to tell the public what to think about world issues and stories that affect a significant portion of society. From news to television shows and movies, an image of what the world should supposedly be like is implanted into the subconscious mind of the viewer. Media definitely has a hand in how people view their communities, as well as local and national politics.

  • We tend to believe in what the media says

Since media is widely used all around the word, we now tend to believe that all the informations written there are true. Based on the informations written in the media, public opinion is formed, and with that opinion actions are made. So we can say that all the actions that we make are based on the media.

  • Yea Boi Son

Yes it does The media affects the way we think because it is all that we see at the moment. Whatever the media has to say is perhaps what you think most people have to say so it affects the way we look at other people. We're more likely to be prejudiced against people depending whether the media has had a bad portrayal of someone of their ethnicity. For example, for all those people who voted out on the referendum due to their opposition of immigrants, the bad opinion that you got of them was because of the media saying that they were taking all the British jobs when in fact that isn't true.

  • Media changes our mindsets and influences our thoughts.

Media is a powerful tool that can be used to change our mindsets, thoughts and behaviors. It has perpetuated many forms of prejudice and discrimination. For example, when a certain stereotype is portrayed in media, such as male superiority over female, it normalizes the whole idea. It hence influences its viewers to believe in that stereotype. It instills it into the viewers and gives them a fixed mindset about it.

  • Yes, the media influences us.

For example, if your favorite celebrity were to go out and feed the homeless, nine times out of ten you would say," Awe, that's so nice of him/her." Then you'll go and try to feed the homeless just because they did. Also, why take a picture of you feeding the homeless? Why must people know you feed the homeless? More people are focused on feeding their ego than feeding the homeless. WAKE UP people!

  • Yes the media does control us

The media is a powerful entity and it is able to influence us in ways that we are completely oblivious to the fact that we are being manipulated, from the way we speak to what we wear. That's how powerful the media is. The media is able to turn lies into the truth and somehow distort the truth.

  • Yes media affects the way we think.

I totally believe media affects the way we view things, the things that we purchase, what we believe, and how we act with others. I think that it should not be allowed for companies to monopolize the media. There should be many other influences and opinions that reach the people.

  • We pay attention to the media, but that doesn't mean that we have to be influenced by it.

The media sensationalises everything, so much so that it becomes unrealistic and over exaggerated. I agree with the argument above when saying that if the media showed us a suicide hotspot, then we wouldn't all feel obliged to try it out for ourselves. And if we were influenced by the media, then wouldn't we all be wearing what Miley Cyrus does, but we don't because we have a scrap of common sense and some form of modesty.

  • We don't follow the media

I think that we are not influenced by the media because we all have a brain and we can all think for ourselves. Also we all follow the media if they said to jump of a bridge would we follow. So I don't think that we follow the media in any way

  • My man was stole buy the media

Basically, I was shagging a guy, it was all going well.. UNTIL HE LEARNT ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA! He started liking the pictures of tramps and slags and then he left me for a hefty slut. Her name was Hevva and she a cold sore bitch tramp dirty road whore of a woman. AKA prood the ,meoda does oinfiuel us r -]n

  • We have our own opinion :

Media tries to fire a bullet of information into our Mind but wheter it is correct or not ,the decision depends on us.All the statements given by media are not exact every time.So what is justified or not it's our brain which decides so by observing the facts and realities. So I would say media tries to influence us every time but its our own opinion which allow us to follow the media whethere it should be followed or not.People belong from different cast, community, sex, age etc. so they consist a different opinion about the certain things and they are in different need respectively so not all the time media influences the Mind of the human.

  • The media is what you make it.

We do not agree with the opinion that is designed to indoctrinate the masses. The media will become whatever the people/users want it to become. If the media was designed to indoctrinate the people it will not allow most material to make it the internet, it will become what we want it to be!!!!

  • We pay attention to the media, but that doesn't mean that we have to be influenced by it.

  • Debate between Trump and Hillary

I hope you get someone like Greta Van Susteren to officiate. She seems unbiased and tells the truth, whereas most media put their spins on the truth. Not interested in the lies and what they think. I want facts. Most of us are smart enough to draw our own conclusions if given honest facts. If the debates are officiated by untruthful journalist, I won't be watching.
