Does The USA Still Maintain The Most Powerful Military In The World?

Asked by: Xantog
  • Yes yes yes

I watched an interview where a General said even if the whole world united against the USA it still couldn't take it down.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

  • Most certainly the US is most powerful.

It is said that no nation could ever invade the US and succeed. This, for the most part, is completely true. With the strength of our navy, which is completely unrivaled by any other nation due to our aircraft carriers, and with the industrial capacity that the US holds, no country could be able to take on the US in a long-term war and win. Perhaps if the US were the invader, then they would lose. It happened in Vietnam. The home field advantage is nothing to scoff at. It is without a doubt, however, that if the armies of the US and any other nation were pitted against each other on a level playing field, then the US would win.

  • No, the US military is powerful, but it is rivaled by Russia and China.

It is no doubt that the US military is extremely advanced in the terms of technology, firepower, and overall numbers. However, many other countries are further developed in land combat, air combat, and sea combat. Not in terms of numbers, but in tactics and success. It is also important to remember that soldier morale also plays a vital factor for the success of the military, which the US is lacking in my observations. Russian and Chinese soldiers are more patriotic, and train much harder than the US. So no, the US is not the most powerful country in the world.
