Trump is not going to target civilians. Nor is trump likely to lead military engagements personally. However, as commander-in-chief he will authorize military operations which may include the use of bombing campaigns. This was a horrible question because it implied two fallacies. First, that Trump was directly and intentionally responsible for civilian deaths. He was not a part of ground operations and did not order the targeting of civilians. Second, the phrase "other countries" is too vague. Neither Trump nor the military are likely to just bomb "other countries" in general. Rather, they will bomb targets in countries where those targets reside. Hopefully, they will target and take out those that pose a threat to the U.S. and their allies.
With the advent of the drone program, the United States Presidents have found a way to combat threats or perceived threats without placing soldiers in harm's way. While this warfare may be costly to innocent lives, it allows the President to rapidly act on intelligence at no immediate risk to American lives. I believe that Trump and the future presidents will continue to bomb enemies of the United States.
Yes, Trump will likely continue bombing other countries like his predecessors. Bombings are an easy and effective way to convince your constituents that you are being tough on terrorism. It's something that Trump campaigned on and he's not likely to back down from his promise to "bomb the heck out of em."
Trump administration will continue his predecessors bombing campaign.Obama's drone strikes have been called "Global assassination program". Trump said that he will bring back water-boarding and a whole lot worse. It is clear that Trump is going heavy handed in the "War on Terror". Trump is going to be very tough on extremists and will use excessive force.
