Yes, Donald Trump may be the least popular president ever, especially when one considers how many people were strongly against him being elected. Furthermore, Donald Trump with his views could expose this country to more threats. People really will not like Trump following Obama even if they did not vote for Hillary.
Donald Trump doesn't seem like he wants to be a populist president at all and this is clearly affecting his popularity among the citizens through this transitional phase. I think his popularity still depends on the policy he enacts and his ability to manage the country, so perhaps there is hope his popularity ratings could rise.
This citizen will remain in utter contempt of this elected official as well as many others will. I feel this President will not be capable of relating to the woes of the great majority of his constituency, the complete opposite of what the Office was intended. "Of the people and for the people" translate, in this case, into of "those" people and for "those people" (the upper-class constituency that he can relate to).
There is no other more menacing danger to the poorer people and his popularity will fall way short of what his team predicts.
Yes, it seems Donald Trump will be the least popular president entering office. His approval ratings are low and so many people are protesting his election. It remains to be seen, however, if he will end his term as the least popular president ever. He may get into office, calm things down and do some good.
