Developing technology was always about developing it so we could do more work in less time with less effort, And I have no problem with that. Hopefully technological singularity will really happen around 2030, So the youth of today will live to the day when the use of intelligent AIs transhumanism begins so day will be able to do little work, Have much fun, And have a superior body. In my opinion, Transhumansism is one of the best ideas to ever exist. A biological body is in many ways inferior to a robot body (it's softer and gets hurt more easily than a robot body, It stinks without constant shower, It sweats, It has all sorts of fluids, Some of which we find disgusting, And some of which we don't because of reproductive hormones, It aches (it's unnecessary once you know what can harm your body), It needs constant energy supply in the form of food and drink, It propagates itself through nasty competitions unless it's capable of asexual reproduction, If conditions allow it, It propagates itself to the point of overpopulation and eventually extinction, It catches all sorts of diseases, It ages, It brakes down in painful ways, It can have all sorts of chemical imbalances, It dies, It can't be repaired after a point, It can't have other advantages that a robot body can have, A robot body would make a lot of inconvenient things easier, Etc. ). If I would live to the day humans could transfer their consciousness into a robot body, I would totally do it. I think of it as the next step of human evolution. I don't think Ghost in the Shell is much of an argument, Because what's the point of having transhumanism as a topic of a film if it doesn't go wrong at some point in some way? If you don't know what to do without work (even though a few works that require creativity will likely remain), You lack creativity.
There are massive amount of entertainment technology had provided us at our fingertips without the actual need to leave our sofa, since we are entertained by our TV, smartphone or tablets where you could de online shopping or listen to the latest songs, or read the news or ebooks and when you gets hungry, just search through foodpanda or deliveroo and they will just deliver it to you, and you do not need to go out to the nearest foodcourt for lunch; go to the shopping centre to shop or to buy a newspaper.
Robots take our responsibilities and do them for us. We don't need to work anymore. We can just watch tv and eat chips all day without a worry because robots are doing everything for us. Soon we will have robots to go to the gym for us. WE ARE LAZY!
We are always in front of computer. People who work in offices do their work in computer they sit in front of it for hours this causes them many problems. Of course you can work but not like this. They are attracting us as we sit near to it we are addicted and we get eye site and on sitting there you don't even get any knowledge there is no physical working at all a person without no physical working is said to be physically present but mentally dead people should know what is good for them and what is not. It is true that technology is helpful to us but we are miss using it. So higher authorities should take care About that. People are dying day by day because of the problems caused by technology.
Online SHOPPING HAS MADE THE SHOPPERS OF OUR WORLD LAZIER WITH JUST ONE THING... ONLINE SHOPPING... ITS AWFUL WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT HOW JUST BUYING A PAIR OF SOCKS ON AMAZON OR USING THE SELF CHECKOUTS AT A STORE PUT PEOPLE OUT OF JOBS... THEN THAT MAKES BOTH THE SHOPPER WHO ONLY HAS TO USE A FEW CLICKS OF A MOUSE TO PURCHASE AN ENTIRE SHOPPING LIST, AND THE EMPLOYEES (WHO HAVE BEEN PUT OUT OF THEIR JOBS BECAUSE OF ONLINE SHOPPING)LAZY AND WILL NO LONGER WANT TO WORK. OUR WORLD HAS BECOME SO LAZY BECAUSE OF TECHNOLOGY THAT I THINK HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE EVEN LIVE WITH THEMSELVES? IT IS TRULY DISGUSTING!
Computer has definitely made us much more lazy than we use to be in earlier times......If we say someone to go out and buy any food item or anything he/she would probably say that let me order it on my big basket or let me order on amazon but wont go to buy it outside and some would also say that i am not going anywhere......So this is only one phase ...There are many phases of these problems like nowadays kids are very lazy in performing calculations they are dependent on their phones and calculators and etc. etc. etc.
It has been proved technology can make people lazy with these pieces saying close garage. And within seconds your garage is close did you do one thing noooo so you can do things at the tip of your finger. So hard work can make you healthy and less lazy and more observant.
From buying things on supermarkets to Online Shopping. How worse could it be?
1. The more technology improves, the more we get lazy
Technology is the best thing in the world and takes over jobs and more... That's the problem! Taking over jobs. Real life robots are made and improving. Probably in 10 years Robots will take over our jobs and we get more lazier and gain obesity...
2. Obesity is common now.
Lazy means Eating, eating means robot's taking over jobs, taking over jobs means Obesity. Obesity is the biggest medical condition we have. And it keeps getting worse. Technology is banned in Peru and it's a good thing. If i was in Peru i would be happy.
3. There is some problems too.
We can lose weight by using fitness technologies. But without technology we can lose weight EVEN MORE... Reality: We are not losing any 1 micrometer of calories by using Fitness Technologies. Without technology it's better... Running 1 km's, Walking 20 km's. Marathons. Soccer, Basketball... Don't forget that!
Technology has made humans more efficient, but also more lazy. Before the industrial revolution, people spent 50% of their time on food (hunting and farming), and the other 50% on shelter. Technology has allowed humans to work less, enjoy leisure time and take up hobbies. Technology has also meant that many have become lazy.
Technology has made humans more lazy because we don't have to do all of the things we used to have to do in a day anymore. Before, people had to do the wash by hand and cook all the meals. Today we have washing machines, dish washers and so many other things that do things for us.
We have choices; it's either you answer sth with a yes or no. Technology has its uses based on the reasons for it's creation. Just like drugs were created to prevent diseases, i.e. the manufacturing of paracetamol. We know humans misuse and abuse drugs, so it only makes sense that they do so too with technology. Technology cannot one day just decide on its own what it wants. It is programmed to do specific functions. Humans, however can.
We are made more efficient, technology has allowed us to achieve things that were once seen as impossible. Hospitals and doctors have used doctors to save countless lives and not because they are lazy. Tv remotes are used to change the tv not because we are necessarily lazy, but because it is easier and faster to use a remote than to get up press the buttons on the tv a million times and then sit back down and that's not including volume. Cars once took 8 hours to produce a single car, but ever since the assembly line, one of the earliest forms of technology, hundreds of cars would be produced. People buy things online not because they are lazy, but because it is easier and faster than traveling far away costing a lot more money to get something. Classrooms look very similar to what they were a hundred years ago, the only difference is technology. Cell phones have been created that allows us to talk to friends a long distance away. Mail once took 3-5 business days to travel across the country and then another 3-5 to get back. And for business days that can range up to a week each. What once took weeks to contact people, we now have email (electronic-mail) that does the same job that takes only minutes. And is that because we're lazy? No. It's just more efficient. Yes we may sit and stare at computer screens, but read the question "Has technology made humans more lazy?". MADE. Technology does not force us to do anything, we as the human race have chosen to use this technology either way. So even if everything I have said does not stick to your mind, remember this, "We are not MADE to use this technology we are given. We choose to use it by our own free will therefore we choose to be lazy." Technology has done what was once seen as impossible, when was the last time you chose to not be lazy and stand up and turn change that tv without using the remote?
It dose not make people more lazy it is just the way people react to it.For example people could not of got a lot of sleep. Online shopping is just new technology we raped around us and heaved adopted to it.So you are rong technology does not. So that is what i think
Although a lot of people have become lazy as technology has developed and has facilitated our lives, other people have used this technology to enhance their lives in ways that make them more active and healthy. Someone might use technology to avoid doing energy-requiring activities. For example, some people do not go out as much now as they prefer to talk and interact with their friends online. The fact that technology has increased the ways through which we can entertain ourselves indoor has contributed further to this. Nevertheless, this is not always the case. Other people have manipulated technology in a way that has allowed them to be more active. For example, some people use technology to access different, more efficient workouts and nutrition plans. Others use this to become up to date with new research about better life styles and incorporate this new information to improve their lives. Technology could also be used to allow people to become more knowledgeable about the events taking place around them. For example, Facebook groups are created to invite and encourage people to join weekly runs and races in Alexandria (such as those organized by the group Alex Runners). Furthermore, technology can help people have access to stories of others who have changed their lifestyles drastically, motivating people to be more active. Therefore, although technology has made some people more lazy, it has also helped others become more healthy and active. Saying that technology has made humans more lazy is an overgeneralization that focuses only on the possible drawbacks of this development. One could also argue that computers are making humans less intelligent. Once again, this, as with a lot of other things, depends on how you use it. I think in order for us to really benefit from the developing technology around us and to avoid becoming “lazy,” we should be taught how we can use it correctly and beneficial ways through which we can manipulate this tool.
Technology has made things much easier in everyday life for most people. As with most good things, there is a downside. Technology has made some people lazier. However, making things easier for people doesn't always necessarily mean that the people utilizing the technology are lazy, just smart enough to know that there is a better way of doing things.
