Is a right really a right if it is regulated by the government?

Asked by: vjb
  • That is subjective

But yes. A lot of legal recognition is required for a right to be a right. Case in point, gay marriage. Human rights are also regulated by the government. I daresay that without the government, most of these 'rights' would not exist. I need eight more words. Ignore me please.
