Is a Women Study university education relevant?

Asked by: yeuxpure
  • While relevant, It doesn't lead to many job opportunities.

There have been a lot of courses relevant to the world's issues in Women's Studies. I have taken a few classes related to it and they really made me think. However, It's probably better to minor in it rather than major. . . Because it's not useful in the sense of getting a job.

  • Not learning to think

I looked up several program outlines and none have an intro to statistics course. How can one understand the landscape of diversity without looking at data? How does a paper get peer-reviewed if it seems mostly subjective? Seems one graduates with their own soap box without and ability to beyond their sanbox.
